The story! *without pictures*

I was online buying a very nice and naughty present for myself, a very pretty and tasteful piece of lingerie…oh a few pieces. A corset, garter belt and matching panties. (Yee ha!)

When I would press BUY NOW the customer service page kept saying there was an error. Uh, ok. SO I tried again, and again, and again, actually quite a few times, I was getting QUITE frustrated! Finally one of the times I tried…and got through, the page said there was something wrong with my debit card.

Uh, ok.

So….I call the credit union, they aren’t sure either someone will call me back. I thought they might have put a hold on my account since I was doing so much online shopping or something. (All sales, I promise!) But I knew I had enough money for the item, I was confused.

Well, Friday morning I get a call from the credit union, after I went online and purchased said item. IT TURNS OUT that every time I clicked the button to buy the present? IT PUT A HOLD ON MY ACCOUNT FOR THE AMOUNT OF THE PURCHASE! So by the time I had access to the website for real, I had already clicked the button 15 some times….and I had something like $1000 HELD from the company! DOH!!!!

And since I do not have $1000 in the account… when I tried to buy my pretty undergarments, they said no.

Ha!

The credit union lady thankfully could not SEE the order I placed 15 times (methinks?) and it wasn’t from a store like Fredricks of Hollywood or Toys in Babeland or anything…

So, my innocence is maintained. At least until I model said outfit ;0!

Mmmmm. Curvy Jennifer fitting quite nice in all the velvety and lacy goodness. Yum! (And I think I needed 12 more responses to show the actual picture…) Not of me in it of course! Those pictures I will keep *semi* private! If they occur…

Anyhow…these are NOT pictures of the lingerie I am speaking of (um, they don’t make these in plus size for a reason) BUT ooooh la la! How very very pretty! From Vicki’s.

  1. Although it has never happened to me, I have ordered things online with big, stern warnings about hitting the button “once and only once” or you will be charged multiple times. I can see how this could happen.

I must confess that it’s all a bit less, well, titillating than I had anticipated. Still a funny story.

  2. LOL

Whatta think?
