Last week a group of co-workers went on a fun filled field trip to Chautauqua Institution. Long, long, long time ago when I was in Middle/High school I visited the grounds almost yearly for All County Chorus.
So pretty…I could vacation there easily.
Of course the people who were at the lecture with us…
Most of them were multi-tasking. All the women in eyesight were crafting: needlepoint, knitting, quiliting, sketching. And the men? They were passing a newspaper around like schoolkids with messages written in the margins.
“Are you going golfing today?”
“What time?”
“Where do you want to meet for lunch?”
Adorable. And the lecture on citizenship was fantastic as well.
