Interesting.

Maybe I should read this book?

You’re Catch-22!
by Joseph Heller

Incredibly witty and funny, you have a taste for irony in all that you see. It seems that life has put you in perpetually untenable situations, and your sense of humor is all that gets you through them. These experiences have also made you an ardent pacifist, though you present your message with tongue sewn into cheek. You could coin a phrase that replaces the word “paradox” for millions of people.

12 Jan, Fri, 03:58:42 Google: eye phobia

Turns out I am #4 (and #6) on Google for “Eye Phobia”

What eye phobia you ask? Read here.

Lucky for me, I found that this site was #1.

Eye Phobia?

Imagine What Your Life Would Be Like Without It…

What is Eye Phobia?

Defined as “a persistent, abnormal, and unwarranted fear of eyes”, each year this surprisingly common phobia causes countless people needless distress.

Known by a number of names – Ommatophobia, Ommetaphobia, and Fear of Eyes being the most common – the problem often significantly impacts the quality of life. It can cause panic attacks and keep people apart from loved ones and business associates. Symptoms typically include shortness of breath, rapid breathing, irregular heartbeat, sweating, nausea, and overall feelings of dread, although everyone experiences eye phobia in their own way and may have different symptoms.

How long & how much?

The Eye Phobia Clinic at The CTRN Phobia Clinicâ„¢ is entirely results-focused, so we charge you for the result you want: freedom from eye phobia – regardless of how long it takes.

The process usually requires no more than ten hours. In exceptional cases we can achieve a favorable result in two to three. But because we guarantee the outcome, we will work with you for as long as it takes – five minutes, five hours, five weeks. We work highly effectively by telephone. This allows our clients far more flexibility in scheduling appointments, and the results are every bit as good as meeting in person.

Take Action Now

We have never met a case of Eye Phobia that could not be overcome using these methods. So please, whether or not you decide to work with us, make a decision to get over Eye Phobia now.

Price of the VIP program varies according to the severity of the case. Typically it runs from $2497 and up. Scholarships are available to assist with fees in some cases, please call for details.

I guess I don’t have an eye phobia at all, because my fear is OBVIOUSLY not unwarranted. And now I know.

You know you’re important when…

You announce you are sprinting for President on the “IMUS in the Morning” Radio Show.

Dodd Declares 2008 Presidential Candidacy

Five-term Democratic Sen. Christopher J. Dodd of Connecticut jumped into the 2008 presidential contest today, undeterred by the competition from his better-known Senate colleagues. In an interview on the “Imus In the Morning” radio show, Dodd said he was filing candidacy papers with the Federal Election Commission. “I want to skip this exploratory phase a lot of people go through and become a full-fledged candidate for the presidency,” he said.

I’m waiting!

DAMMIT!!!

WHERE DID HALF OF MY POST JUST GO? GRRRR! If any of you are reading this in bloglines etc…could you send me a copy of, oh everything I wrote in the last post that is missing if it is still there? Grrr! THANK YOU

(It’s moments like this that I miss cable television, news that is.)

Full text of speech here.

DAMMIT THIS IS WHERE I HAD ABOUT THREE PARAGRAPHS OT TEXT THAT SUDDENLY DISAPPEARED. ARUGH. WHY DO I EVEN TRY :(

Call me idealistic, call me a miracle hoping monger, call me on my vote for this President. Blah, blah. blah this is where I had written something that made sense and included quotes from the speech and outlined my disapointment with the President and how I want to believe BUT even more I want HIM to MAKE us believe and that isn’t going to happen, blah blah blah change the course. Increase the troops, but hopefully not for this reason…end the violence. Blah, blah, blah. You know what? I am pissed off that by adding a link above to my post I lost the well crafted (at least in my head) thoughts that streamed out of my brain shortly after watching the deer in headlight look President of ours give his speech and I am not even close to doing a good job of explaining how I feel right now because, well, those thoughts are lost. LOST! Hazards of blogging and adding to a post I suppose. Grrr.

Now is not the time to act… 6, 9, 12, 18, 24 months ago was the time. “Where mistakes have been made, the responsibility rests with me.”

To make the time now, we need a FORCEFUL, CREDIBLE, POWERFUL LEADER to LEAD us through the next few months. And we just don’t have that with President Bush and it makes my heart sad. Mention of Syria and Iran and “material support” also concerns me…what are we doing?

A step forward indeed, let us pray that it doesn’t lead us two steps back. For the sake of our troops.

Aside: For those of you counting…it was five minutes into the speech before 9/11 was invoked and 12 minutes for “Al Qaeda”

Double secret underground aside: What’s with the Joe love fest?

Where do you fall?

I know I posted this a long, long time ago…but I just took the POLITICAL COMPASS test once again and I ended up with these results. Where do YOU stand? I think it would be interesting to find out, if you would rather not post your comment publically, please email me the results. I think it would be interesting to *poll* where my readers stand.
