Last WEEK on this date- Baby Shower

If I only could connect my blog to my brain (and my camera…) I would never have to say “I will blog this later.” Later, how does later come and go so quickly? And how do I have time for 27 other posts to appear and yet I neglect others? The world may never know.

So anyway…last week on this date.

I attended a *work* baby shower for my friend/co-worker Caron.

Caron and her (adorable!) hubby do not yet know if the baby is a boy or a girl. However, I made these for the event…

And without even thinking, Caron grabbed a pink one. Hmmmm. (I secretly imagine a boy, but I think I always imagine boys…)

As usual, there was no lack of food to be found…

(By the way Jenn, the cake looked just ducky. Har hardy har har! No seriously, it was very pretty. Someday if I am lucky, you wil be attempting a penguin at 3 am, someday…)

Or presents.

And Caron is going to make such a fantastic mommy! All we do now is wait…and hope she feels better soon, what is it with colds and mama’s ready to give birth? Not fair!!!

I’m going to have to stay working at this place forever, because the ladies/coworkers/friends in our building are always so amazing and generous. Brings tears to my eyes. I love where I work, have I mentioned that before? Congrats to the mama-to-be…and great job by the planners!
