What on earth am I talking about? What are those fancy icons over in my sidebar?
Maybe you’ve heard about them, maybe you haven’t. NaBloPoMo: National Blog Posting Month is a sort of spinoff of NaNoWriMo: National Novel Writing Month Both challenges take place the month of November and force you to get in the daily habit of writing and blogging! I’ve decided to once again take on the challenges, after successfully completing both last year. (Where’s the 50,000 words I completed? Well, that’s another unedited story for some other day.) So anyway…
If you’re a regular reader you know that making sure I have a post up every day for a month over here at All Things Jennifer, well, ain’t QUITE a challenge for me. So I need to step it up a notch. (While participating in NaNoWriMo for year two as well.) I’ve kinda decided to do two things, each day of November, in addition to the regular blogging.
1. POST A DAILY PICTURE
I have hundreds, no count that THOUSANDS of pictures in My Flickr Account that have stories just waiting to be shared. I plan on digging up a picture every day and writing a post about it. This will of course, include old school photos courtesy of my beloved scanner.
2. POST A DAILY WIST LIST ITEM
Again, I have hundreds of items saved to My Wists folder (an internet Wish List of sorts that is accessible to every website!) Tons of cool, unique, fun and PERFECT things for me and even more things I’ve found for friends and family (including future offspring) and of course, Mark. I plan on taking one item a day and posting it to share with the world! Unique items from stores you might never have heard of before, and all in plenty of time for the Holiday Season.

I specifically would like to call out a few people to join me on the NaBloPoMo challenge, trust me, it’s not that hard! Whatta say Chris? Jenn? Samantha? Paul? And I know there are BUNCHES of you out there who really do practically post everyday. Join the fun!!!

Good luck with all of your challenges, Jennifer! I might do NaBloPoMo, but I’m debating NaNoWriMo, simply because I end up with unfinished manuscripts that never see the light of day. I do have three new projects in mind, so who knows?
Now… about your NaNoWriMo books… have you done NaNoEdMo? (In January, I believe.)

On a brighter note, my lovely wife is back, and life is good. I realized that the one thing I missed the most was the laughter. Her sense of humor is a tad on the bizzaro side, like mine. Nothing is better than laughing your ass off in Tops over the dumbest things. And life is good, part deux – Dan made it to Arizona in 3 days, one piece. Car is fine, apartment is fine, and he is fine. Part three? Daughter bought me a pair of tickets to a Sabres game in January. Life is Damn good… « Previous Entry [...]
