Years ago, I was dabbling in YA fiction and "auditioned" to be one of SVH writers. I'd never read the series and found it hard to slip into another author's "voice, " so didn't make the cut. It was a little disappointing at the time-- the money was lucrative for the length of the books-- but now? Ugh. Wouldn't want to be associated with that series.
