Dreams can come true!

I told my Mark that my brother received a Playstation for his wedding as a present from his friends. So when Mark wistfully browses the online shops and keeps stopping at the PS3, I tell him it too could only be his…if…he just pops that one little question…

I’m certain enough of his friends will pony up a few bucks as a constellation prize for him for getting to deal with me for the rest of his life, actually Lil Brother himself might be willing to pay that price! Instead of a “help us pay for our honeymoon” or “help us pay for our house” registry Mark could set up the PS3 MAN registry.

I can see it now, instead of a honeymoon Mark will be sitting on the futon playing Assassins Creed while I bake goodies and cook some good food in the kitchen.

And when you look at the overall big picture? This isn’t unreasonable, with approximately 300 guests our gift registry would be approximately $3.33 per person, not too shabby!

Ah, to dream. ;)

Barnes & Noble

My heaven on earth. The GIANT Barnes & Noble Bookstore in Pittsford, NY. I *heart* this store. I’ve spent much, much time there since meeting Mark. Mark does Wing Chun on Saturday and when I tag along for the ride up the 90, I end up here. Home Sweet Home.

This weekend while there, I browsed through these magazines. (Also playing with the new camera as you might guess.) I usually read many more but I met up with my friend Rachel (from Buffalo) who was also in Rochester for the weekend for chat and coffee instead. Odd, we can hardly meet up in Buffalo, but for some reason this weekend worked like a charm! In fact, last week was the joy of impromptu outings with friends. Starting with grabbing a Caramel Frap on a whim with my friend Chris in the middle of the workday, having lunch with my friend Andi at Cafe 59, running into Nathali at the laundromat on Wednesday and chatting, meeting up with Erin for dinner and drinks and Cozumel on Thursday night and then coffee with Rachel in Rochester! Not one of these plans were concrete more than a few hours/minutes before hand. (But for lunch which was a whole DAY in advance!) The impromtu scheduling worked like a charm probably because I had a few too many pre-work meetings and after-work meetings last week. This week—I’ll be hiding. I know it. Sad news tends to do that to me…

Randomments for a Monday

Well, well…to each their own I guess! Miss Piggy Mask? Oy!

Baby Mama Wife of GOB is having GOB’s Baby. (in real life!) Now that’s gonna be a handful.

Dear God, my Lemon Chicken was how bad for me? Ugh! I am sooo sticking to the Beef with Green Onions next time. Even if all Chicken dishes are on special.

Do we really need to track our periods online?

Send a note to your future self! Great Scott don’t forget the bullet proof vest!

Tequila…

I had a conversation last week with Erin that went a little something like this…

Me: “I’m craving a margarita, I need to purchase some tequila and summer alcohol. My God, I can’t even remember the last time I had a bottle of tequila in the house, do you remember?”

Erin: “Um, no. But that’s probably because we use the whole bottle every time we buy one.”

:)

True. So true.

GT’s Organic Raw Kombucha Juice

Organic Raw what the heck Kombucha Juice?

I had never heard of such a thing…but Sunday while at work I went to browse the shelves at the co-op to grab lunch, I needed something to go with my California Rolls and bam! This pretty pretty bottle appears before my eyes. (And on sale, which was a big bonus.) GT’s Gingerade the bottle said. All natural. Good for you. Made with love. Probiotics.

And as a result, our customers have experienced everything from increased energy levels and decreased appetite, to improved digestion, healthier skin and hair, and even a stronger immune system.*

Yada, yada, yada…check out the website for all the juicy goodness.

All in all, it was sort of tasty. In that effervescent gingeraid with strains of bacterial floating around kinda way.  Has anyone ever heard of this stuff or tried it? What do you think?

Ask A Creepy Polygamy Mom Magic 8-Ball

Oooh! Oooh! The other day I went to lunch with my friend Andi and she told me all about fun in her office with the *Ask A Creepy Polygamy Mom Magic 8-Ball* which reminded me of days long ago dreaming about Kirk Cameron and banana videos. I miss those days…(not the work I did while in that office, but the ridiculous moments of uncontrollable adoration of Kirk.)

Anyhow…

I’m just now trying to catch up on the blogs and there it was on Best Week Ever.
