My goodness, the devastation lately is everywhere…send your prayers.
China: 5,000 feared dead in quake
My friend Caren who is teaching English in China with her husband Niels sent along this email this morning.
I’ve gotten some inquiries, Niels & I are OK! The earthquake was 16 hours from here, but yes we felt it & it was pretty freaky. It’s pretty bad down in Sichuan province, so if you could send some good thoughts towards Chengdu over 1000 people have died and over 100 students are trapped in their school. I’m sure they could use all the good thoughts as they can get now.

Nope. Not our Fruth she is still here in WNY with me, not that I ever see her! With a hubby and little baby boy, toddler now! How time flies…
