ATJ Poll: Blog Reader

So blog reader…what blog reader do you use? Or do you do it the *old-fashioned way* and head directly to the webpage?

Are my posts coming up as full posts?

Thank you in advance for your help.

:)

  1. Google Reader. And no, the posts are cut off [...] after a certain length.

  2. Ditto. I use Google Reader and get truncated posts.

  3. Ditto on the above comments since I’m also a Google Reader user.

  4. Ditto for me as well.

Jennifer, what reader do you use? Do you sub to your own blog to see what we’re seeing?

  5. Man, I can’t get anything right today. My response to be:

Google Reader, and yes, truncated posts.

What reader do you use and do you subscribe to your own blog? Kinda helps to see what we’re seeing.

  6. I use Bloglines. And yep I subscribe, I like to see how long it takes to pop up, and it takes A WHILE. I’m thinking about moving to Google, but didn’t know what else was out there…

  7. I’m old fashioned, I go straight to the page. What can I say, I like pretty graphics.

  8. Google Reader. And here’s an example of a recent feed from you:

Ha. I totally forgot I put up that future post about concerts for today! Very cool. Although I swear I blogged this post before. At least in my head and scribbled on paper 27 times. I’m working on 2 hours of disjointed sleep from last night. allthingsjen Too much. Couldn’t quiet my brain. Got up [...]

  9. BTW: I think you can change that in your dashboard, whether you do partial or full posts. Mine show up full in my reader.

  10. Ditto for me…I switched over to google reader from bloglines a while back (it helped me to determine what I was actually reading and what I wasn’t).

  11. I just go directly to the website!

  12. I get a truncated version on the google reader module on my google home page. Sometimes I go to GR, but usually I click on the truncated google page to go right to your blog.

  13. I’m a “go to the website” girl.

  14. I use Bloglines and it can be set for truncated or full posts.

  15. I use google since I have a gmail account. But I will also just go to the website too.

Whatta think?
