“When we’re at war, our icons like Michael sing about healing the world and so he called us into public service. It did not matter whether we were black or white. He even told us to beat it, beat the violence.”
Thank you Jackson Stallion for the link.I now think I will devote my life to public service because Billie Jean is not my lover!
Wait, I do WANNA BE STARTING SOMETHING!
I’m Bad, I know.
Instead it seems I use PaperbackSwap. But if I love the book I KEEP IT!
Anyhow, this story makes me very happy. What a reading list!

I’m LISTENING. Really Universe. I’m here and listening!
I went to bed late last night, couldn’t sleep.
Woke up early this morning, itchy, headachy, cranky and decided I was going to take allergy meds (not the sleepy kind) and go back to bed. About 15 minutes later realizing the non-sleepy kind don’t really relieve my symptoms like the sleepy-kind do I decided I was going to take a day off and go to bed.
I checked my email made some eggs and thought hell no, I need to go to work, I’m going in after all. After blogging and a cup of coffee (and sniffling and looking at my bloodshot eyes in the bathroom mirror) I took the sleepy allergy meds and decided I was going to take a half day and come in the afternoon. Even though I know I will be groggy and generally unhappy.
And then this came in my inbox…
I mean didn’t everyone already know this? If the SUN ITSELF can cause cancer surely an electric bed that fries your skin to a different color would be safe!
“The use of sunbeds is carcinogenic to humans. It causes melanoma of the skin, and melanoma of the eye.”
“I cannot see any reason why a healthy person should use them.”
