It’s About Old Friends…

Harry: My whole life, I don’t know what this song means. I mean, ‘Should old acquaintance be forgot’? Does that mean that we should forget old acquaintances, or does it mean if we happened to forget them, we should remember them, which is not possible because we already forgot?

Sally: Well, maybe it just means that we should remember that we forgot them or something. Anyway, it’s about old friends!

Cheers to Donna for the link! :)

37 is the new 27!

One of the very cool things about having a birthday on December 29th outside of the fact that I get a week of celebrating holiday happenings with friends and family, is the fact that while the NEW YEAR approaches and people make resolutions…I get to make personal new year birthday resolutions in addition to a new calendar year all at the same time.

Also, I can only fail in making these resolutions once. No time for making the same mistake twice in a year. :)

THIS YEAR? My 37th (gulp….) I’m proclaiming it to be the NEW 27!

Oh to think of all the things I didn’t know at the tender age of 27…

So here are my predictions/resolutions for my *New 27th* year! Let’s see how many I can make come true by December 29, 2011.

1. All Things Jennifer will get at least 100 more page views this year.

2. My *work* page on Facebook will reach 7,500 fans!

3. I will read 100 books.

4. I will take my first trip out of North America.

5. I will publish some piece of writing.

6.  I will fall in love…

7. I will lose at the minimum 27 pounds.

8. I will get involved with at least two community organizations and volunteer (I’ve let this slip lately.)

9. I will get to St. Paul’s downtown for more than just Ash Wednesday.

10.  I will complete a 6 week beginner yoga course.

11. I will buy a bike…and RIDE the Ride for Roswell as a member of the Extra Mile Club.
