YAY FOR STAR 102.5!!! TIME FOR HOLIDAY MUSIC!
For all those who say that listening to Christmas Music is forgetting or skipping over Thanksgiving, shame on you. Why can’t we have both? Thanksgiving is intimately involved in the HOLIDAY SEASON. Why can’t people see it as a PART of a greater holiday season instead of a segregated one?
I LOVE BOTH!
Tis the most wonderful time of the YEAR!
Raise your hand if you already started your Holiday Shopping? Do you have to wait until after Thanksgiving to do that?
Do I have to wait until March to wear green and drink Guinness?
I love how people get SO INDIGNANT and mad at the radio station for playing music early—but still choose to listen to the station for the rest of the year. Same with the EVIL stores who put out holiday decorations are you boycotting them?
Um, not likely.
Turn the station if you don’t like. Or TURN IT UP if you do like.
But either way remember…loving one doesn’t negate the other!
The advertising gets out of hand. That’s what irks me about it. Thanksgiving becomes a race to plan our Black Friday shopping instead of pausing to be grateful and appreciate the blessings we’ve been given. And we all end up tired and spent at the end of it. It just seems like we miss the original intent of Thanksgiving.
