Holiday Party Foil Garland

The Smith household absolutely had this garland draped in our archway between the Dining Room and the Living Room at Christmas time. I had NO IDEA anyone else would have even wanted such a thing! And then I saw it on Urban Outfitters. Excellent. (I’m gonna buy a dozen to make sure I have it for years to come!)

Vintage Lighted Atlantic Ceramic Christmas Tree 25"

I know lots of people who have one of these trees. (Some people even have ones in PINK!) I found mine at a yard sale years and years ago in a giant box labeled $4. I recall my brother and boyfriend at the time telling me I should have bartered, here I was thinking GIANT TREE FROM CHILDHOOD ONLY $4! (Especially when this one is on sale at Etsy for $250.)

Sadly, I do not own these yet but I remember having these as a kid. Although we haven’t made it through all of mama’s boxes of decorations yet so…

Vintage Santa Tree Topper

Every year our plasticĀ  light-up Santa would find a way into the center of our Christmas tree. And now I have it in mine. But you can get your very own replica at the link above.

  1. I totally had one of those ceramic trees… I remember being totally fascinated that you could unscrew the lights and look inside when I was a little kid. I would have forgotten about it completely if I hadn’t seen it here! $250 bucks? What the what?

Whatta think?
