The amazing Ladies in Red are throwing a Roaring 20′s wedding shower in my honor…very soon! I’m soooooooooooooo excited to spend time with the girls!!! (And have HWMMS hang out and get to know people better too!)
That said…I need to pick a dress. Tough problem right? 
The thing is I have not one but TWO fringy flapper type formal dresses–quite possibly 3 actually–currently hanging in my closet. One in plum and one in black. (Because when you work where I do and you see a dress you like in your size cheap, you buy it in multiple colors!)
But I have been out and about in all three dresses several times.
Help me choose?
The first one is pretty. I like the burgundy. But it is a costume…
The second one, vavavooom. Could I get away with wearing it again? Fancy.
Are these even 1920/Gatsbyish? What about when I add lots and lots of pearls? Why I’m drawn to these two, I’m not quite sure.
I like the first one the best too. It looks the closest too what I imagine a flapper dress looks like. The second one, another good choice.
Sometimes the shabby apple website has 20s dresses in a range of sizes, but I did not see anything 20s- inspired and the dresses there are kind of pricey.
I love all of them!
Shabby Apple is always a hit or miss for me, but adorable stuff. If I could cut myself in half, maybe. Hee hee.
