Me: (speechless, but laughing inside.) Um, that’s not quite Christina Hendricks Red.
In fairness, I really DO look like Heat Miser, especially when I first wake up and it is a lovely nest on top of my head.
The color looks more like this…except when any light shines on it and all I see is the bright orange where all the grey once lived. And then brown on the bottom. I have red ombre hair, not a trend I’m exceptionally down with…I need to go get it professionally lightened. Just so happens that HWMMS went into town for a haircut today and told them this story! Patty said to come on in and she would fix it for $40. Might have to take her up on that offer. I mean I’m not stupid I realized it would be dark, but I must have been REALLY grey on top this time around…eegads!
