MOUSE IN THE HOUSE!
ACK!!! So Tubby Cat really only meows when he has a *present* to share with us…this time I heard a very loud and proud meowing coming from the foyer, by the time I got over to him I saw a large object in his mouth. Of course at that exact moment said cat dropped the 6 inch large object from his mouth AND IT SCURRIED ACROSS THE CARPET.
A dog and three cats went wild chasing the large object through the house before the damn thing found a hiding spot, somewhere.
This is currently our number one suspected spot. I heard squeaking.
ACK! There’s a very large mouse in my house!!!

Weber Wonderland Foyer
Out of all the rooms in our new home the foyer has been the one that I had the least inspiration for, not for lack of trying of course (see my Pinterest page All Things Foyer)
Believe it or not, I’m somewhat pleased with the random progress I’ve made without even trying. I put a hodge podge of furnishings in there and I think it works nicely with the light colored wood.
In fact, I’m surprised to say that I’m not hating the light wood as much as I thought I would.
I still have no idea what we will do permanently in this room (outside of the very large Christmas tree in December) but at least for now, I think the room feels cozy.
Hopefully the skylight provides enough light for the plants.

Stop! Hammock time!
Strawberry Banana Bread
I started out with this Strawberry White Chocolate Muffin recipe and doubled the recipe then added walnuts and bananas and two less eggs. Oh and left out the baking soda.
Yum.
Hip Hughes History
Hip history lesson from Buffalo school teacher
With a blending of history facts, dance and music Hughes has become know as “resident professor of cool”. Last year Hughes won a YouTube award. Most recently he signed on to make a film with Leftfield Pictures in New York City, producer of reality television shows American Restoration and Pawn Stars. They’re going to create a new pilot for the networks.
Make sure to check out the Hip Hughes History page on YouTube. It’s incredible and infinitely infectious…you might find yourself in a history time warp and lose a few hours.
He also is excellent at getting crowds of Queen City Roller Girls fans on their feet to do the wave.
