Do not like Mood of Meh.

IT TELLS ME I CAN PICK UP MY WEDDING DRESS AT THE POST OFFICE AFTER 9:30AM THIS MORNING!

I got the little postcard on Saturday and felt disappointed they didn’t deliver the dress but in reality, it is a gorgeous valuable item that was sent priority mail and insured…so I can wait another hour!

But how will I WORK knowing the package is sitting in my truck all day waiting for me to open? AAAAAAAAAAAAAAh!

I’m starting the stocking up of the Cherry Chip Cake and Cherry Frosting for Weber Wedding Weekend.

We only need 20 boxes or so…

Our beloved SpotBot decided to not work anymore, so we replaced it with this machine.

Maybe this will be the magical machine that makes the dog/cat not pee on the rug anymore! Kinda like when we bought the new snowblower and well, it never snowed again.

Onward to the hair salon in town—Patti’s Cut Above. You know, the hair place next to the antique store across from the post office by the bank and the gas station at the light? (All singular of course, I LOVE SMALL TOWNS!)

He Who Makes Me Smile and I have been there a few times together and we get our haircut at the same time. Awwww, saccharine right?

I sat in the chair at Patty’s Hair Salon , my hair still wet from the shower (hello, low maintenance hair person!) and she said “a trim” and I said “no, I’m thinking cut, at least 3 inches.” When she showed me 3 inches it looked like a trim so I told her maybe more…although I think I’m supposed to want it longer for the wedding in May, but I keep seeing pictures of brides with shoulder length hair and I love it—and then she showed me 5 inches (without me know how many inches…) and I said, nyah…a little more.

Love!!!

All together she told me she cut 6 inches. Who knew?

Instantly my mood lifted and I was as sassy and bouncy and healthy as my new do! AND IT STARTED TO SNOW BIG FLUFFY FLAKES IN NIAGARA COUNTY!

And…………………

My wedding dress (fingers crossed…) is arriving today!

Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Check out this video, it made me smile. (Also feel OLD since I don’t know ANY of those buildings—it wasn’t THAT long ago was it?)

AND now…makes me wonder how many of my gators had a kiss on the 13th plank? (I did…ahem…in the fluffy snow!)

Thanks Aunt Ellen and Uncle Ken for the PENGUIN ice cream scooper for my birthday! It helped me scoop the baked potatoes for the twice baked goop with the greatest of ease!

If only I had green onions. Dried chives just aren’t the same.
