Give a little bit! TODAY only Buffalo/Niagara! WE CAN DO THIS!

No. No news. Just stocking up on diapers for a fundraiser.
But what a good photo to get people thinking, eh?
Tee hee! Not even December 1st and I have a huge start on presents for Christmas! (Of course I keep GIVING the presents to HWMMS as they come in the mail…gotta stop that!)
*Thank you Chris from Broadway Fillmore Alive for creating this image.
Each year in memory of her son James, my friend Michele Johnson with a little her from her friends gathers 140 Christmas stockings for the kids of St. Luke’s. The stockings are passed out to the children who are coming to St Luke’s for Christmas dinner.
Each stocking is the same and should include the following: Pair of Socks (Toddler to Teen) Small Toy or Stuffed Animal, and $5 Gift Card to McDonalds, Burger King or Tim Horton’s
If it is easier for you to donate money for this cause you can send via PayPal to allthingsjennifer@yahoo.com (just make sure to mention St. Luke’s in the donation field!)
Cruel kids make me rethink my naive, optimistic faith in humanity.
But seeing how many people donated to this fund—restored it instantly. The kids and their parents should be ashamed of themselves, sadly I doubt they are. (Kids names are listed on the YouTube link in case you are interested.)

$46,136/Raised of $5,000 Goal
My goodness, people are generous. Hopefully she can retire finally at 68 years old. (Tears.)
As you probably already know, for the last few years I have participated in The Ride For Roswell.
AT THE VERY LAST MINUTE (as in the ride is in 3 days!) I’ve decided to once again virtually “ride for roswell” to raise funds for critical cancer research and year-round support programs for Roswell Park’s patients…
With YOUR help I’ve been a $1,000 donor the last few years!
This year, I orignially opted out because we listed Roswell Park Cancer Institute as an organization to make donations to in lieu of a wedding gift…but now, I’m rethinking that logic.
Of course the ride is in 3 DAYS!!! But I know we can do this together!!!!
So at the very last minute…I need your help to reach my goal! It’s easy to make a donation to my fundraising efforts – just click the link below to safely and easily donate online. You are a vital member of my team in the fight against cancer and I really hope that you will consider supporting me in this worthwhile endeavor.
Incredible progress has been made in the treatment and survival rates of people diagnosed with cancer. However, until we achieve 100% cure rates for all people with cancer, Roswell Park Cancer Institute needs the help of generous supporters like you.
Last year alone, the event raised a record-breaking $3.2 million for cancer research and patient support programs at Roswell Park Cancer Institute. We are trying to break the record again this year! Please take the time to make a donation on my behalf and bring us one step closer to a cure.
Thank you friends and family! EVERY LITTLE BIT HELPS! Even a $5 donation makes us one step closer to the goal!
All my love,
Jennifer (Weber!)
I played this game on the ride home from work last night with the radio…it was one of those days and I had a heavy mind filled with goop.
The first song to play? Very telling. One of my favorites.
And then in true magical thinking fashion, the very next song?
No. I shall NOT divulge what I was thinking, but I think it’s pretty obvious that the magical thinking radio universe knew EXACTLY what to tell me.
So that’s it. I’ve given up giving up on him. I’m a 100 percent believer. Not in his arm. Not in his skills. I believe in his heart, his there-will-definitely-be-a-pony-under-the-tree optimism, the way his love pours into people, right up to their eyeballs, until they believe they can master the hopeless comeback, too.
Thank you to Dick Shaner for sharing this on Facebook. An article worth reading.
If only more people were like Tim Tebow.
Today on Father’s Day I honor my dad by asking everyone who can to give a little bit for the RIDE FOR ROSWELL! Help me raise $1,000 in honor of my dad. In his memory and everyone else who has lost a loved one to cancer…
