Also the Elf on the Shelf. What’s the deal with that Elf anyhow? I see parents posting fun pics of their elf and tons of suggestions on Pinterest but when does Mr. Elf come out to play? What’s his story?
I think someday I’ll have a penguin on the shelf doing mischievous things around the house instead…
Rite of passage. All little kiddos in my life must be indoctrinated into my penguin love club. (Look how small Jessie Penguin looks in that link!)
So for OUR Black Friday we went to spend time at the Aquarium of Niagara. Half price admission! My husband can never be serious.
Aidan had a great time! I think his mama and papa did too.
Heart. Melt. At one point I was at the big tank with Aidan and HWMMS was standing to our left. The seals kept swimming right up to the glass and I said out loud “Look Aidan, the seals love Uncle Chuck!” And the cutest little 2 year old in the world said with the sweetest voice “I love Uncle Chuck too…”
Moments like this are what make life worth living. I’m so, so, so blessed to be an important part of my Godson’s life and so happy he loves spending time with us. Linda Lu and Bob, you are raising an amazing little boy.

I found these adorable handmade cards from Bethanns Creations in BUFFALO on Etsy and just KNEW I needed to send them to my Ladies in Red. Of course it would have been better if I sent them ONE DAY EARLIER so they would have arrived on Valentine’s Day but why start being on time now?
